I was born into service.
Raised in my families donation based ashram our life was helping others.
I continue to believe that selflessness is the key to happiness and by
this I mean caring for others physically and spiritually. Yoga is more
than exercise it is about developing a state of consciousness. The
word yoga means yoking or uniting with God and with that understanding
of union also carrying the knowledge that we are all children of God.
Putting our mind with our instincts and our instincts with our hearts
we are naturally drawn to helping others. Sometimes we get
uncomfortable with the idea of action on behalf of humanity in the
mindset of having to do the extreme. When really helping your
fellowman can be as simple as purchasing a small item from the Y
catalog knowing well that your currency was put to good use. This
company is paving the way to new ideas of change and progress in our

My charity is Whole Child. It is a non-profit organization dedicated
to reforming orphanages around the globe. I am drawn to Whole Child
because it is about caring for those most in need. Whole Child is not

these beautiful children grow up with stability and love.
